One roundabout way I got to a reliable 22 LR pistol is to get a conversion kit for my Beretta M9A1. You have to use stock hammer springs and I haveto uninstall my Langdon trigger job and put back in the stock parts when I wanna shoot 22lr instead of 9mm. Kinda a hassle but it shoots very reliable with the conversion kit. Comes with adjustable rear sight. Mags are plastic though.$300 via Beretta online, 10 Rd magsCAgunsjrod1814

One roundabout way I got to a reliable 22 LR pistol is to get a conversion kit for my Beretta M9A1.
