If we are going to live in a modern technological society, the shit needs to get pumped away from your house.
It doesn’t matter if someone can turn a profit on pumping the shit away from your house or not, because if your shit doesn’t get pumped, we don’t have a society.
This is what government is for. If something could be done efficiently and affordably at a profit, we wouldn’t need government to do it.
